This book was a required textbook for a Spanish for Health Professionals course I took. It was extremely helpful with pronunciation and covers a significant amount of basic phrases in a compact spiral-bound text. Each chapter deals with a different area of health speciality: ch.1 pain, ch.2 respiratory, ch.3 cardiovascular, etc. The appendix also covers basic conversation, colors, time, numbers and common vocab. Overall this is a handy little book to have available in all areas of healthcare settings as a reference point to assist staff with basic interactions for Spanish-speaking patients.

This book is okay. Many of the vocabulary repeats but still, there was no phrase like "I'm going to turn you on the right/left side." It's a small pocket book but I can't believe I paid for almost $40 for it. Overall I don't think it was worth it.

It is working out fine. I do not like the way the print is sideways and small-it does not cover the whole page. It would be nice if they used all the available space. Otherwise, it is exactly what I expected and needed for my class.

Useless. Not worth $5. Slim book of a few words per page. I only got it because it was required, but it wasn't used in the class at all and no wonder. Spanish for Healthcare Professionals by Harvey is much much better.

I love this pocket guide. It is categorized so information is easy to find. I think would be of good use to anyone who works with alot of Spanish speaking patients.

I’m not sure exactly what prompted my purchase of “Tell Me a Story” by Tamara Lush. Whatever it was, am I ever glad I did make the purchase because it is an incredible story! Caleb and Emma were awesome characters that wove together into a beautiful story. I was immediately caught up in their intense physical relationship, which then blossomed into an all-encompassing one! There was just SOO MUCH in this story!!! Don’t miss out!

I really enjoyed this book. It had everything, laughter, hot sex, suspense and a good love story. Need to read more of her books.

The author did a wonderful job with this book,she a new author to me ,this is the first book I've read by her but it want be my last. I loved all of her characters. She took me on a magic carpet ride I want soon for get.You keep writing and I will keep reading.

This book was so cute and quirky. I felt like I could be best friends with Emma, as she is a girl after my own heart. I got totally wrapped up in the episodes and even a bit teary in places. This book was equal parts steamy and sweet!

I loved this book. the author does a brilliant job of adding so much emotion to the characters. A great story teller, Make sure you read it beginning to finish. I loved the ending.

This was a great read from a new to me author. Emma and Caleb are great characters and I love their story and the love story. I look for to the next chapters and future stories from this author as she has showed how great she can keep you interested in each indivisible story and wanting more.

I have always wanted to be a fun mom. It doesn't seem to come naturally to me and this book has really helped me be that type of mom- all while working on their sensory issues! We have had so much fun with this book! I am so sad I did not have this book when my children were younger! It has been a great resource to fill those moments when the kids are wiggly and full of energy but we don't have a lot of time. Most of the games do not require any set up and if they require any supplies they are every day items (a blanket, a bean bag). My Kids bring this book to me now and ask me to play with them. My son (6) said "Is that the book where you get the fun?" I also love the simplistic illustrations and the organization of the book. It is laid out by sense so: touch, taste, hearing and also things like balance, gross motor, and fine motor. The games have quick, clear instructions and lots of them have fun alterations for different ages and little rhymes to chant while playing (which my kids love). Each game has a suggested age range but I haven't found a game my kids couldn't do or didn't enjoy (ages 4 and 6).

A very nice book with a quality cover and pages. The font makes it easy to read. Part one includes a brief description of SPD, the most common sensory issues, and why it is important to play games at home. The great games i part two are very well organized. They are organized by games for sight, touch, balance, taste, smell, movement, sound, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and social skills. Every game includes a suggested age range for the game and some games have suggested modifications for older children. All supplies can be found in the house are very inexpensive to purchase.I have been given this book in exchange for my honest review.

It provides a nice overview of SPD, followed by 100 games to play that are appropriate for kids with sensory processing dysfunction and even their typically developing siblings. When I saw the pages on playing with food, I knew Barbara Sher’s ideas would be perfect for several of my patients!This book seems to be focused toward families more than therapists, and I like how it can grow with their child from early intervention up through the elementary school years, keeping everyone happy and regulated.

As a parent of two kids with suspected Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), I love this book! The introduction was an overview for me but it was great for explaining SPD to my husband in a way he could quickly and easily understand. (He has ADD and would not read a full book on SPD. The overview provided just the right about of information!) I was most excited for the games. The book provides options for games to increase sensory process broken down by sensory issue and age. There are even ways to adapt certain games for older children. The games in this book will be played often in our house! As someone who works with children and young adults with sensory issues (some of whom are on the autistic spectrum), I found this book absolutely fascinating. These activities can, of course, be used with any child, but they specialize in stimulating all the senses, including proprioception (the sense of where our bodies are in space). I loved how the book separated the activities by the sense stimulated by them and mentioned an age-range for which the activity would be most appropriate. These activities sound like a great idea for how to build tolerance in areas of difficulty for children with sensory issues- I might even share this book or mention the title to our occupational therapist!I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I was given the chance to order this book a review it. I was very interested as 2 family members were recently diagnosed with sensory processing disorders and I work with children who have this difficulty also. I love the way the book is organized into different areas of need. The games are clearly described and easy to do with common household items. It is a great resource and can be adapted to many different skills and needs.

This book is informative and fun book. Even if your children do not seem to have sensory issues it is a great book to play fun games with them. I have grandchildren and played the game with them on hide and seek. Putting a small toy in a bowl of rice. My grandchildren said I like the feel of the rice. All children will benefit from this lovely book. There are 100 games!!
